DataRoad installs the computer network for the new easyHotel in Lisbon
A DataRoad was the company chosen by easyHotel to the computer network installation from your new hotel in Lisbon, a property with about 101 rooms, situated in the Santa Marta Street, in a central part of the capital.
This new hotel is located next to the Autonomous University and Santa Marta Hospital, just a five-minute walk from Avenida da Liberdade and Marquês de Pombal, one of the most popular areas of Lisbon with both tourists and business travellers.

A easyHotel is part of the group of brands associated with the easyGroup, who is also a shareholder in the airline low-cost easyJet. The hotel chain operates in several countries, including United Kingdom, Switzerland, Netherlands, Germany, Hungary, Bulgaria and United Arab Emirates, focusing on modern, functional and well-located properties.
With the opening of this new hotel in Lisbon, easyHotel is strengthening its presence in Portugal, entrusting its technological infrastructure to a partner specialising in corporate and hospitality IT networks.
Complete installation of the hotel's IT infrastructure
A IT installation carried out by the DataRoad team covers the hotel’s entire IT infrastructure, including:
- Workstations and back-office equipment
- Structured computer network
- Printers and support systems
- POS (Point of Sale)
- Professional wireless network, with 38 Wi-Fi access points, distributed by 7 storeys of the building

Separate networks and centralised management
The network configuration provides for the separation of the hotel’s internal network from the “guests” network”, intended for guests, ensuring high standards of IT security and service stability.
The entire infrastructure will be managed via a central controller, allowing for continuous network monitoring, fault detection and efficient wireless access management.
Infrastructure prepared for redundancy and high availability
DataRoad will implement the computer network with:
- Gigabit PoE switches, ideal for corporate and hotel environments
- Capacity of redundancy between internet operators, via a dedicated router
- 6 racks distributed per floor, as well as a central chassis, making organisation, maintenance and future expansions easier
This architecture ensures network high availability, essential for critical services such as reception, payments, reservations and guest Wi-Fi access.
24/7 IT support with Unlimited service
